The primary duty of the Director of Affiliate Affairs is to manage and oversee the Affiliate Affairs unit including all the related budgets. The Director is responsible for conceptualizing, developing and facilitating the implementation of projects related to building the capacity of APHA and its Affiliates in alignment with APHA’s strategic plan. This staff provides support to expand communication and coordination with Affiliates in addition to helping APHA and Affiliate leaders develop and implement long- and short-range goals to increase the sustainability of our Affiliates and support the APHA strategic plan.
