Overview
Our Marketing Manager works with the VP of Content Marketing & Communications to execute both digital and print marketing campaigns for each department within the organization and targeting the appropriate audiences. This position is responsible for the design, development and timely and cadenced distribution of all content via digital and traditional platforms as well as reporting the analytics of the organization’s marketing and communication strategies to leadership.
As a shared service resource, the Marketing Manager will be required to support the needs of other departments both in person in the office and virtually in conjunction with our hybrid work model.

What will you do?
- Under direction of the VP of Content Marketing, execute and manage multiple digital and traditional marketing campaigns through appropriate channels (website, email, social media, print & digital advertisement); Work with internal marketing team and external vendors that contribute to marketing campaigns
- Manage marketing communications calendar and ensure content both aligns with strategic priorities and messaging delivery is timely, accurate and consistent
- Develop templates for email marketing; create, proof and send mass and targeted email communications as well as interpret and report on statistics associated with email campaigns
- Develop and manage social media and digital advertising campaigns that engage target audiences within the association; stay abreast of social media’s changing trends
- Monitor campaign performance; evaluate and produce analytic reports for review with stakeholders and VP of Marketing; call out successes and opportunities for improvement
- Editing and proofreading marketing content; work with vendors as needed to edit and brand marketing videos
- Posting multimedia content to the correct channels and helping promote visibility of the programs as well as individual content items
- Work with Strategic Content Manager and other staff to create/publish video and audio content.
- May be responsible for performing in-person interviews for content development
- Research and implement best practices for email campaigns
- Research and implement best practices for digital marketing including SEO, social media marketing, marketing automation
- Coordinate with other staff to ensure that content is provided and distributed in a timely manner and to the correct audience
- Liaise with writers, designers, printers, photographers and videographers on marketing projects and act as project manager for said projects
- Ensure brand consistency and accuracy in outgoing communications and campaigns
- Ensure that all email and other marketing campaigns meet or exceed industry standard and benchmark for effectiveness
- Work with VP of Content Marketing & Communications to continuously improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- As a shared service resource, break down silos and foster collaborative work environment with other teams and departments both in the office and virtually
- Other duties and support as needed.
What it takes to do the job:
- BA in Marketing, Communications or relevant experience
- 3-5 years’ experience working in interactive marketing communication, email marketing, digital marketing and managing multiple projects at once
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to include business writing skills
- Knowledge of changing social media trends
- Familiarity with Hootsuite or other social media management platform
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML
- Proficiency in Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, Adestra, MyEmma or other email marketing platform
- Experience in video editing
- Experience with email marketing systems and marketing automation software platforms
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) preferred
- Knowledge of and/or experience working in membership associations highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats, work well with different teams and juggle complex priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, collaborative approach and ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Flexible interpersonal skills with high level of energy, optimism and patience
- Pro-active, self-motivated, and able to work independently while also contributing fully as a team member
- Strong multi-channel writing skills, including emails, landing pages, social media, etc.
- Experience in corporate real estate a plus
- Covid-19 vaccination and booster required for all staff
