Plumbing Manufacturers International is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented team player able to create and deliver outstanding education programs and events working alongside PMI’s senior management, committees, and other stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the success of PMI’s education offerings by working in a collaborative team environment. In tandem with the Director of Programs and Administration, assist in the planning, development, and delivery of education programs.
The ability to identify problems and quickly develop solutions that focus on positive outcomes is essential. Must possess the ability to communicate openly, clearly, and with candor.
Manage the virtual education programs (e-learning, webinars and microlearning). Participate in program development to include identifying topics, recruiting presenters, assist with planning and onsite support for the Annual Conference and Meeting, and assist with other meetings and activities of the Association.
Develop and maintain strategies to enhance and help grow PMI education programs, assist in the selection of topics and speakers, schedule programs, coordinate content development, and as the technical lead, facilitate webinars, e-learning and virtual events.
Coordinate speaker communications and logistics (including audience response system where applicable) pre, during and post programs and events with support of PMI staff.
Responsible for managing the event database and all other platforms associated with PMI’s education products. Set up, registration, and other associated duties to ensure events and webinars are operational.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the AMS and the LMS. Oversee production of and content development for the online courses and managing the recording and posting onto the LMS.
Gather and analyze program data, conduct needs analyses, monitor attendance, and solicit feedback, and implement appropriate improvement strategies focused on meeting member needs.
Work with PMI’s communications team to promote newly released content and e-learning opportunities, provide timely event information and coordinate posting materials for the educational programs.
Assist in:
Budget development and monitors expenses and revenues against budgets for e-learning programs.
Preparing and confirming meeting specifications for program audiovisual needs within budget guidelines for assigned meetings.
Reconciling programs, which includes all invoices and payments and post-event analysis.
Provide service excellence to all external inquires (member and non-member support) and internal staff with a positive, courteous attitude, sense of urgency, and attention to detail to address and resolve inquiries promptly.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least 2-3 years of education support and member service experience.
Experience working remotely, within a small team environment wearing multiple hats. You are flexible and understand the need to be nimble in a lean organization.
Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Strong computer skills particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Intermediate to advanced experience with learning management systems, membership data management systems, webinar platforms, conferencing tools, and Survey Monkey. Ability and willingness to learn new software and programs as required.
Service-oriented attitude and the desire to work with multiple people with a variety of personality-types and various levels of need for support.
Ability to travel up to 25 days a year to PMI meetings.
