The Chapter Event Coordinator position will assist the ACG Denver Chapter Manager and Executive Director with the event administration of the Chapter. This is a part-time, contracted work-from-home position with travel within the Denver Metro area required. The role will be based in Denver Metro area and will report to the Executive Director.
What You Will Do:
Coordinate with Manager and Executive Director on event logistics (virtual and in-person).
Set up and manage registration for each event.
Provide hosting duties for the virtual events.
Print name badges and manage on-site registration desk (for in-person events).
Create and send invoices.
Generate and distribute attendee lists, respond to attendee requests, track non-members attendees and follow up with membership information.
Collect and distribute speaker and event collateral.
Coordinate logistics, manage process of nominations and provide support for the Leadership 20 educational program.
Assist Chapter Manager in the promotion and social media outreach for chapter events.
All other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
2+ years of prior experience working as an executive assistant, senior administrative support, or in an association support position.
Must be able and willing to travel around the Denver metro area to attend Chapter functions (approximately 1-2 times per month when in-person events are allowed).
High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficiency in virtual platforms, particularly Zoom, required. Understanding of registration platforms (Cvent) a bonus. Must be adept at learning new programs.
Demonstrated attention to detail, exceptional responsiveness and ability to manage and balance many activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Prior association experience preferred.
