Job Overview
The FWC currently has an exciting opportunity to join the team as the Senior Manager, Education and Programs. This position oversees the development and delivery of high-impact educational initiatives for gynecologic cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. This role collaborates closely with committee volunteers, medical experts, and internal teams to create diverse educational offerings, including in-person events, virtual programs, and written resources. The Senior Manager will play a key role in ensuring FWC’s education portfolio aligns with its mission to raise awareness and empower those affected by gynecologic cancers.

What You Will Do
The Senior Manager, Education and Programs is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing patient education programs in diverse formats and in collaboration with medical experts, committee volunteers, and survivors. This position serves as the primary staff liaison to the FWC Patient Education Committee, including facilitating meetings and guiding discussions while fostering a positive volunteer experience. In addition, the Senior Manger collaborates with the SGO Meetings and Education team to plan and execute in-person and virtual patient education events, including logistics and registration, managing speaker and faculty invitations, and expense tracking and reimbursement. This position is also responsible for content development and resource management, and works closely with the Marketing and Communications team to promote educational programs and resources.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer competitive salaries commensurate with experience. The compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 annually. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, and short- and long-term disability benefits; vacation time, sick time, 11 named holidays and 3 floating holidays, and parental leave.
Requirements for Success
Bachelor’s degree in public health, health education, healthcare management, or related field (master’s degree preferred).?
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in patient education, health education program management, or non-profit program leadership.?
Demonstrated experience developing educational content and events for patients and caregivers in healthcare or cancer-specific settings.?
Proven ability to develop strong written materials aligned with readability standards, accessibility guidelines (e.g., plain language), and brand voice.?
Experience working with volunteers, committees, and medical professionals.?
Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.?
Proficiency in managing virtual education platforms and event tools.?
Knowledge of gynecologic oncology, cancer survivorship, or women’s health preferred.?
Commitment to health equity and culturally competent education.?
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including MSWord, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint?.
The Senior Manager, Education and Programs emulates integrity and professionalism; navigates interactions with senior leaders and volunteers with confidence and tact; provides superior customer service; is technically savvy; approaches work with a high attention to detail; and can effectively manage multiple priorities concurrently.
The work of the FWC is conducted primarily in a remote office environment with occasional requirements to be onsite for group meetings and events. Travel is required approximately 10 days per year.
