ASK Distribution Consulting, LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of the Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD) is seeking a coordinator for its cornerstone EHS&S program, ACD Responsible DistributionTM program. The coordinator will implement and coordinate various functions for the Responsible Distribution department, including assigning and scheduling ACD member verifications/audits, working with verifiers/auditors, assisting with the development of training/workshop programs, presentations, and reporting, and supporting overall program coordination.
This position will also support the growth and development of new and existing ASK offerings designed to support organizations across the chemical supply chain in enhancing their safety, compliance, sustainability and commercial success.
As background, ASK is the official administrator for ACD’s Responsible Distribution verification program. ACD Responsible Distribution is an environmental, health, safety, security, and sustainability initiative using a quality management system approach that demonstrates members’ commitment and continuous improvement in chemical storage, handling, transportation, and disposal.
The coordinator will report to the Senior Director, Responsible Distribution.
Primary Responsibilities:
Track verification schedules for member companies
Communicate timelines, requirements, and verifier assignments with member companies
Assist with verification schedules between verifiers and member companies
Support online and in-person training programs.
Work and collaborate with other ACD departments, such as membership and education
Attend various ACD and industry conferences, meetings, workshops, on-site and online training, and other events
Assist with the Responsible Distribution Committee
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
Relevant experience in training, accreditation and/or membership functions
Team player who supports co-workers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organizational and follow-through abilities/attention to detail
Experience in a member or client-facing role with strong customer service skills
Experience in proofreading technical reports for accuracy and clarity
Proficiency in Microsoft software applications
Ability to travel up to 20%
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Monday.com
Experience with Learning Management Systems and online learning courses
Experience with auditing or industry management systems
