TRSA (trsa.org) seeks a motivated, relationship-driven Advertising & Sponsorship Sales Representative to manage and grow advertising, sponsorship and partnership revenue across TRSA’s print, digital and event channels—including Textile Services magazine, Textile Services Weekly, TRSA.org, digital newsletters, event sponsorships, TRSA podcast and custom research.
This independent, commission-based role represents TRSA’s media and event assets to supplier partners serving the commercial laundry industry. The representative will prospect and manage accounts, develop customized marketing solutions, and build long-term relationships with advertisers and sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
Sell advertising, sponsorship and partnership opportunities across all TRSA media and event properties.
Drive new revenue opportunities by developing relationships with untapped supplier partners and expanding participation across TRSA platforms.
Develop and maintain relationships with supplier partners, agencies and advertisers in assigned territories (New York City, the East Coast, the Southwest and international markets, excluding Canada and Mexico).
Create proposals and packages tailored to client goals using TRSA’s Media Kit.
Coordinate with TRSA staff to ensure seamless execution of advertising and sponsorship deliverables.
Participate in monthly check-in calls (approximately three per month) with TRSA staff to review activity, discuss prospects and plan upcoming opportunities.
Provide monthly activity reports, maintain accurate sales records and forecast revenue.
Attend major TRSA events (e.g., Annual Conference, Legislative Conference, Healthcare Conference) and industry trade shows as needed.
Stay current on industry trends, TRSA programs and editorial content to align opportunities with client objectives
Qualifications
Proven success in B2B media, advertising, sponsorship and event sales (association or trade media experience preferred).
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple accounts.
Knowledge of the linen, uniform and facility services industry or related sectors (industrial, healthcare, hospitality) a plus.
Proficiency with CRM and digital advertising platforms preferred.
