This role provides high-level administrative, operational, and project support to the Executive Director and Associate Executive Director. This is a full-time, primarily remote position with required in-person work one day per week in Lansing and additional onsite support during statewide events.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, tech-savvy, and able to self-manage in a remote environment. This position supports MAASE’s internal operations, communications, data systems, and grant projects—including the paraeducator training initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Executive Support
Provide scheduling, communications, and logistical support to the ED and AED.
Provide onsite assistance during conferences, professional learning events, and meetings (primarily in Lansing, occasionally statewide).
Support registration through Novi and CVent, prepare materials, and assist with logistics.
Support branding, printing, rooming lists, and prepared materials for events.
Operational Support
Assist with onboarding logistics (access setup, paperwork routing) in collaboration with the Manager of Business & Operations.
Coordinate scheduling tools such as Doodle Polls and Zoom links.
Handle shipping, packing, and coordination of materials for special projects and grants.
Support internal office operations, including maintaining supplies and supporting document storage.
Provide support to learners who are engaged in courses in the Learner Management System
Other duties as assigned

Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week (W–2)

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred but experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Experience in a professional administrative, clerical, or support role.
Strong digital literacy and comfort with cloud-based tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote environment.
Professional, friendly, and responsive customer-service mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
Familiarity with QuickBooks or light bookkeeping tasks.
Experience with an AMS (Novi preferred, similar systems acceptable).
Experience supporting events or working in the nonprofit sector.
Comfort with Google Workspace, Zoom, digital scheduling tools, and online systems.
Experience managing competing deadlines in a remote setting.
