Are you results-driven with a passion for connecting people to life-changing care? The National Association for Care at Home is seeking a Vice President of Membership Development to lead aggressive membership growth while advancing our mission to improve the lives of those who receive care at home.

The Vice President of Membership Development will be dedicated to expanding our reach, championing our mission, and ensuring every person who needs care has access to organizations that deliver it. The Vice President of Membership Development will report to the Chief Operations Officer and is responsible for driving net-new member acquisition, dues revenue growth, and executive-level relationships across the care at home industry (home health, hospice, home care and Medicaid HCBS) and business partner vendors). The role owns the national membership sales strategy and pipeline, and partners cross functionally to ensure a frictionless prospect-to-member journey and measurable ROI for members.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and lead a national, data-informed membership growth strategy that expands reach, deepens impact, and drives sustainable revenue.
Translate market insight and member needs into clear, actionable strategies that guide annual planning and long-term growth.
Take full ownership of new member and dues revenue, providing transparent forecasting and meaningful performance insights to executive leadership and the board.
Champion proactive, relationship-driven prospecting efforts, particularly with priority segments and large, complex organizations, to grow enterprise membership.
Build a culture of disciplined, high-integrity sales execution, supported by clear pipelines, reliable forecasting, and strong CRM practices.
Partner closely with the Membership team to strengthen onboarding, engagement, and renewal efforts that reduce churn and increase long-term member value.
Connect member engagement opportunities; events, education, committees, and thought leadership, to clear renewal and growth pathways that demonstrate return on investment.
Collaborate across Marketing, Membership Operations, Events, Education, Finance, and Advocacy to deliver integrated campaigns and compelling enterprise offerings.
Translate policy and advocacy successes into clear, tangible value propositions that resonate with current and prospective members.
Serve as a visible, trusted ambassador for the organization, building relationships, leading executive-level conversations, and representing the association at key industry events.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration or related field or relevant work experience + High School diploma. MBA preferred.
10+ years in membership sales/business development with progressive leadership responsibility and a proven track record in B2B enterprise sales.
Association or healthcare sector business development/sales experience.
Expertise in pipeline design, forecasting, conversion optimization, and executive deal management.
Strong financial acumen and data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret trends, dashboard fluency, evaluating ROI, and inform forecasting and pipeline decisions.
Hands-on experience with CRM/AMS (e.g., iMIS, Impexium/reMembers, Salesforce).
Familiarity with the care at home industry (home health, hospice, home care, Medicaid HCBS), healthcare economics, regulatory and payer environments (e.g., CMS payment policies, quality programs).
Executive presence; superb written and verbal skills; negotiation strength and board-facing presentation capability.
Strategic planning, territory/segment prioritization, and value-based selling in complex B2B environments.
Ability to present and influence decision-makers. Demonstrable ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
