The American Cement Association (ACA) seeks a seasoned and influential President & Chief Executive Officer to lead the national trade association representing 92% of U.S. cement production. Founded in 1916, ACA is the industry's principal voice on policy, sustainability, research, and innovation.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President & CEO will set strategic direction, lead high-impact advocacy, and serve as the industry's chief spokesperson with Congress, federal agencies, member CEOs, and external stakeholders. A core priority of the role is advancing ACA's Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality, positioning the industry for long-term competitiveness, resilience, and growth.
The ideal candidate brings senior executive leadership experience, strong board and member engagement skills, and deep familiarity with Washington, DC policy and regulatory environments. Experience in heavy manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, or sustainability-related sectors is strongly preferred.
Compensation: Competitive executive package, salary range $450,000–$550,000, plus bonus potential.
