Who We Seek
We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Director of SIG Development and Educational Events who is passionate about adult learning, enjoys collaborating with subject matter experts, and building impactful educational experiences. This role collaborates with IWLA’s leadership for 3PL industry business verticals, leads Special Interest Groups (SIGs), Planning Committees, and develops engaging learning experiences. What You Will Do
Lead IWLA’s SIG programming and educational events across 3PL business verticals.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, SIGs, and leadership to identify learning priorities.
Collaborate with the Curriculum Director and Education Committee.
Serve as staff liaison to SIGs and Education event committees.
Conduct needs assessments and focus groups to inform program development.
Ensure all content reflects adult learning theory and instructional design best practices.
Manage Education Staff to support Departmental Goals.
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using feedback and performance metrics.
Job Type: Full-time
Reports to: IWLA President & CEO
Pay: $95,000 – $110,000 annually
Expected Hours: 40 per week

What You Will Need
5+ years of experience in adult education, curriculum design, or professional development.
Previous Association and Volunteer Management Experience
Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design.
Experience managing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Familiarity with LMS platforms and association education strategy.
Willingness to travel to live events or training (up to 20%).
