The NAHB Executive Networking program is seeking a 20 Clubs Meetings Manager to oversee the logistical components of the NAHB 20 Clubs, Executive Networking Spring and Fall Meetings. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing high-volume corporate meetings and possess exception skills in event planning and coordination (80+ meetings annually), hotel and venue management, project management, communication and negotiation, problem-solving and adaptability, and attention to detail.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and facilitate all aspects of meeting planning for NAHB 20 Clubs’ Spring and Fall Meetings (including food and beverage, audio visual, meeting room setup, hotel room block management, group dinner reservations, transportation, etc.)
Meet regularly with meeting host and club leadership to ensure successful outcome of meetings
Responsible for managing the hotel reservation process for meeting attendees, speakers and staffs
Manages group room blocks and releases rooms according to contractual deadlines to avoid attrition penalties
Prepare accurate and comprehensive meeting specifications to include room setup, food and beverage, and audio-visual equipment while adhering to all contractual obligations
Manage vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and conduct reconciliation of authorized charges, performance of services, and paid deposits
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
3+ years of event operations experience, preferably with an industry trade association or association management company
Excellent administrative, organizational and time management skills with concurrent projects
Strong proofreading skills and experience managing budgets
Sound judgment, with the ability to proactively seek information and guidance when needed
Excellent customer service focus and sense of urgency in serving internal stakeholders’ and members’ interests
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent in education and experience
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $75,000-$80,000 annualized based on skills and experience.

Each year, NAHB’s members construct about 80% of the new homes built in the United States, both single-family and multifamily. A federation of more than 800 state and local associations, NAHB represents more than 140,000 members. About one-third are home builders and remodelers.
