Overview The National Grocers Association (NGA) is the national trade association for America’s 21,500 independent community grocers. NGA members include retail and wholesale grocers located in every congressional district across the country, as well as state grocers’ associations, manufacturers and service suppliers. The NGA Government Relations department consists of 3 full-time lobbyists and support staff. We exclusively lobby on federal issues across a range of policies, including food safety, nutrition, antitrust, payments, labor and employment, tax, privacy, among others.
