The Southeast Texas Chapter of The National Electrical Contractors Association (SETX NECA) is seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Administrator to join our team.
POSITION SUMMARY The Administrator requires an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, a team player and possesses superior communication skills. The Administrator will own responsibilities essential to the success of our organization including benefits management, data entry and management, facilitating internal and external communications, and supporting the fiscal management of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Benefits and Dues Administration (70%)
Perform tasks in the administration of 3rd party employee benefits and Member dues programs utilizing web-based software system. Maintaining and updating pertinent records and providing necessary reports. Serve as point of contact for internal and external communications regarding reporting requirements and reconciliation.
Bookkeeping (20%)
Provide basic bookkeeping management, in collaboration with a senior Bookkeeper, via QuickBooks to include financial management and oversight in conjunction with leadership, reporting via spreadsheets and graphs, management of bank accounts, Electronic Funds Transfers and check registers, etc.
Administrative Support (10%)
Provide hybrid office and staff administrative support as needed, including, phone and answering system, and web-based solutions (email, website, etc.). Interface with technical support and coordinate team meetings and communications.

Experience providing a high standard of operational and administrative support to a team and managing upward, as needed, to ensure tasks and responsibilities are effectively prioritized
Fiscal management experience
The ability to take initiative proactively solving problems and suggesting solutions within the realm of the job’s scope
Extensive experience and proficiency using email, internet, web and mobile applications and shared documentation systems
Willingness to learn and utilize new technology
Strong individual contributor but equally able to work in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to the above responsibilities, candidates should have demonstrated success and experience with the following:

Communication: Professional and persuasive communication skills; adherence to professional and clear etiquette via phone, email and in person
Education: 4-year degree or three years relevant, applicable experience
Computer: Advanced skills in utilizing the Microsoft Business Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and TEAMS.) and Adobe Acrobat
