Remote Work and Travel: This position can be fully remote outside the Twin Cities, MN area or hybrid if the candidate lives in the Twin Cities area. If fully remote, the position needs to travel to headquarters on a semi-annual to quarterly basis for staff team meetings. This position is also expected to travel to the annual in-person symposium held every summer (~5-9 days) and will share responsibility with the leadership team of traveling to represent AAW at regional in-person weekend events (~quarterly). Some weekend hours required for implementing virtual programming (1-5 weekends/year).

We are seeking a talented and motivated AMS and Web Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Director, this newly created position is responsible for managing the IMIS database and website, providing technical and web support for marketing and communications initiatives, supporting online events, and offering technical support for customer service. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our members and enhancing the efficiency of our online operations.
Key Responsibilities
IMIS Database Management:
Manage and maintain the IMIS database, including creating and managing IQAs, reports, and dashboards.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the database.
Provide technical support to association staff and members related to the IMIS database.
Website Management:
Oversee the management and maintenance of the IMIS Rise website and other web content management systems.
Implement website updates and improvements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Ensure the website provides an optimal user experience and is aligned with best practices.
Technical Support for Marketing and Communications:
Provide technical support for marketing and membership campaigns.
Pull lists and reports, build landing pages, and set up automated processes to support marketing initiatives.
Manage and analyze metrics related to website and social media activity to inform strategy and improvements.
Support the integration between the IMIS database and third party software including email service providers, online forums
Support the setup and implementation of membership recruitment and renewal campaigns
Online Event Management:
Setup and manage event registration through IMIS
Optimize user experience for online events
Test and troubleshoot online event operations
Online Community Support:
Manage the online forum and community through Higherlogic.
Facilitate engagement and interaction within the online community.
Provide technical support and resolve issues related to the online community platform.
Customer Service and Technical Support:
Offer technical support to association members and staff.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the website, database, and other online platforms.
Integration and Reporting:
Improve the integration of AAW online properties and resources.
Set up and provide reporting on various operations and programs.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance the customer/user experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
1-3 years of experience with IMIS, including creating and managing IQAs, reports, and dashboards.
1-3 years of experience with website management (preferably IMIS Rise experience) and coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Strong project management skills.
Experience with Higher Logic or Informz.
Experience providing technical support for association staff and members.
Experience managing and analyzing metrics related to website and social media activity.
Proven experience in improving digital user experience.
Ability to work on several projects at once under tight deadlines
Demonstrated experience fostering a sense of community and member investment and engagement.
Demonstrated experience with nonprofit and/or memberships organizations preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
