What This Job is About:
The Coordinator, Business Strategies, provides operational and management support to the Business Strategies team. They are integral in the execution of corporate membership, association-wide programs, special projects, and meetings/conferences. This role interacts with every department within AMCP and with important external stakeholders to ensure that project deadlines are met, and a high level of customer service is achieved.
More specifically, key responsibilities include:
Maximizes outreach and sponsorship procurement to support new revenue streams and financial goals through execution and management of strategic programming.
Creates and updates standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Business Strategies Department.
Creates letters of request, sponsorship agreements, statements of work, and independent contractor agreements for the Business Strategies Department.
Assists with proposal development and AMCP’s negotiations of contracts with outside vendors and contractors.
Manages sponsorship agreement processing and invoicing, including sponsor tracking and follow-through on contractual stipulations and grant requests within the association management system and CRM.
Tracks actuals and budgeted goals for all programs on a weekly basis, including sales leads and pipeline reports.
Coordinates with the Membership, Meetings, and Marketing Departments on member engagement, partnership opportunities, and sponsorship outreach
Assists with scheduling, meeting logistics, and follow-up as needed.
Manages logistical operations based on the master timeline of project deliverables, including meeting logistics, registration information, marketing/telemarketing, and contractor management and deliverables.
Communicates pre-meeting and onsite logistics with faculty and attendees.
Executes the closing out of programs, including faculty and attendee communications, financial reconciliation, invoice processing and coding, and survey development and execution.
Manages AMCP website content updates relating to Business Strategies (amcp.org and amcpcorporatetraining.org).

Bachelor’s Degree required combined with at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare, association, or scientific organization. Familiarity with contracts, association management, and customer relationship management system (CRM) software is a plus.
Must have effective written and oral communication skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders effectively.
Establishes and maintains constructive and corporative working relationships.
Ability to manage contracts and order fulfillment.
Ability to work with databases, and experience in working with a CRM system.
Establishes and updates department standard operation procedures (SOPs).
Ability to assist department leadership with budgeting and forecasting.
Proficient in MS Office suite, and social media proficiency preferred.
Deadline driven. Effectively plans and prioritizes tasks and projects.
Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate at a high level with colleagues, as well as external members, sponsors, and exhibitors.
