About National Association for Pupil Transportation
The National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) is a non-profit §501 (c) (6) organization that serves as the world’s premier student transportation market space, a diverse community of people and organizations that share a passion for safe and efficient student transportation. In concert with the NAPT Foundation Inc., our §501 (c) (3) nonprofit affiliate, we offer transportation and transportation-related providers in school districts and private operators a wide variety of professional services and opportunities for growth and development. NAPT and the NAPT Foundation have adopted a Strategic Plan that centers our work on several key areas and activities for our membership and the industry at large as follows: •Communications: To foster a collaborative effort to increase awareness of pupil transportation •Leadership: To develop transportation professionals for today and tomorrow •Education: To broaden access to education which creates and delivers products and services that meet current and future member needs •Advocacy: To strengthen relationships and work with other K-12 associations, other organizations in the school transportation industry, and federal & sta...te agencies •Resources: To provide transportation professionals with timely data and relevant materials to ensure safe and efficient transportation Our work in each critical area is intended to foster the advancement of the school transportation industry. Moreover, we strive to promote and enrich the women and men who are responsible for providing school transportation services across the nation for more than 25 million students each day of the school year. Ultimately, our vision is to ensure that every student has access to safe and school transportation.
