About Aging Life Care Association
The Aging Life Care Association (ALCA), a nonprofit association with approximately 2,000 members, primarily in the U.S., is governed by an 11-member Board of Directors. Aging Life Care, also known as geriatric care management, is a holistic, client-centered approach to caring for older adults or others facing ongoing health challenges. Working with families, the expertise of Aging Life Care Professionals provides the answers at a time of uncertainty. Their guidance leads families to the actions and decisions that ensure quality care and an optimal life for those they love, thus reducing worry/stress, costly mistakes, and time away from work for family caregivers through: •Assessment and monitoring •Planning and problem-solving •Education and advocacy •Family caregiver coaching ALCA provides timely resources and training to its members through the publication of its bi-annual Journal of Aging Life Care™, the ALCA annual conference, live and pre-recorded webinars, teleconferences, and podcasts, digital resources such as a Knowledge Resource Center and other offerings like e-newsletters, and an Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program. ALCA also provides national visibility and industry... promotion through digital marketing strategies, website “Find an Aging Life Care Expert” search, blogs, and white papers.
