The National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information Services (NAPHSIS) is a non-profit membership association representing vital records and health statistics offices located in all 50 states, New York City, the District of Columbia and five territories.  NAPHSIS’ mission is to provide national leadership for both vital records and related information systems to establish and protect individual identity and improve population health.  NAPHSIS programs facilitate the provision of training, education, technical assistance, and resources to assist vital records and health statistics offices.
