The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as Director, Virtual Learning.

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented project manager with the capacity to help launch, manage and grow our virtual training programs.

As a vital member of the AGC education team directly reporting to the Senior Director, Knowledge Programs, this position will have a hands-on role in managing the day-to-day operations of AGC's Virtual Training offerings, providing industry-leading education to individuals in the construction industry from across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage virtual training programs being offered across the country:

• Serve as the business leader for assigned virtual training programs
• Develop and deploy an annual schedule of courses, on a quarterly basis
• Recruit and support instructors
• Recruit and support course monitors or monitor courses directly (as needed)
• Support marketing of the courses, including working with AGC Chapters on co-marketing activities
• Provide customer support to prospective and enrolled participants
• Work with CEU coordinator to offer IACET CEUs and other CEUs for courses
• Collect, organize, and track all documentation associated with the evaluation of online instruction
• Work with instructors to monitor, modify and improve virtual learning experiences
• Fulfill referral incentive payments to chapters on a bi-annual schedule
• Continually monitor, recommend, and implement new teaching and learning techniques, technologies, and delivery methods for the effective delivery of the programs
• Manage budgets and forecasts for assigned territory

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

• Possess strong management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects, work independently, and manage/review projects
• Exercises good judgment
• Fosters collaborative relationships with diverse cultural groups, as well as with professional, technical, and administrative employees
• Highly organized and able to quickly prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with a sense of urgency
• Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership of projects and have fun
• Experience managing a budget
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working with a Learning Management System, particularly Moodle based, preferred
• E-Learning experience, ability to leverage technology to deliver training, preferred
• A minimum of 4-years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
