Role
Our virtual events and education offerings are growing and we are looking for an outstanding individual with experience in developing and coordinating professional events, specifically in a virtual offering environment (i.e. virtual conferences, virtual events, webinars ,etc.). Reporting to the Meetings & Education Manager, the Digital Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the success of virtual ACMP events and education opportunities. This is a mid-level events position and ideally we are looking for someone who would like to advance their career in virtual events, as well as assist with hybrid and face-to-face events, future conditions permitting.

Areas of Focus

• Assist with coordinating live, virtual events
  • Facilitate practice/prep sessions with speakers
  • Collect and organize materials from speakers
  • Manage speakers progress against deadlines and workplan
  • Assist with backend setup on Cvent virtual platform as needed (i.e. setting up sessions, speakers, etc.)
  • Other tasks as needed
• Customer service (by email)
• Webinars
  • Facilitate practice/prep sessions with speakers
  • Collect and organize materials from speakers
  • Manage speakers progress against deadlines and workplan
• Data entry/validation
• Completing research and trend tracking when needed
• Compiling reports and tracking results
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Competencies and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a professional environment
• At least 2+ years of experience in coordinating virtual events required
• Association experience a plus but not required
• Able to work remotely and independently, pace yourself, be self-motivated, and meet long-term deadlines
• Must have knowledge/interest in keeping up with trends in virtual event
• Be adaptable and able stay calm under pressure
• Must have access to a work environment free of interruptions (to help facilitate events) and be available to work overtime June 27-July 1, 2022 during our annual virtual conference.
• Travel to future in person conferences and events in 2023 and beyond may be required.
