Customer Service and Support, Membership, Project Management/Program Development
Required Education:
Some College
The Chapter Manager position primarily will manage the Chapter membership, program development and help support events. This is a full-time, work-from-home position.
The role will be based in Denver Metro area, will require attendance at in-person events, and report to the Executive Director.
Membership
Assist Executive Director and Membership chair with chapter membership recruitment, engagement and retention strategy.
Support Membership Chair and membership-related subcommittees with database reports and communications.
Manage new member onboarding and lapsed member recruitment.
Coordinate with ACG HQ on membership campaigns.
Create membership reports for monthly board meetings.
Work with committees and volunteers to assess opportunities and make recommendations for improving membership experience, benefits and services to internal and external constituencies. Help implement recommendations as appropriate.
Event/Program Support (30-40 events per year):
Generate and distribute attendee lists, respond to attendee requests, track non-member attendees and follow up with membership information.
Coordinate the production, gathering and distribution of marketing collateral for events.
Attend events and assist with event set up and registration.
Handle logistics for and attend board meetings (6x per year).
Provide support for the Leadership 20 educational program including coordinating communications and managing nomination process.
Assist Executive Director with management and tracking of sponsor benefits.
Website
Work with Marketing and Communications manager to ensure website content is up to date.
General
Provide the highest level of customer service to members, sponsors, internal and external colleagues and partners.
Work with Executive Director to identify areas for improvement in member and nonmember outreach and communication.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be able and willing to travel around the Denver metro area to attend Chapter functions when needed (1-2 per month).
Experience in CRM or AMS data base management required.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required. Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms a plus. Understanding of registration platforms (Cvent) a bonus.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills
Demonstrated attention to detail, exceptional responsiveness, and ability to manage and balance many activities.
Prior association experience preferred.
