The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) is hiring an Assistant Director of Marketing at its Bethesda headquarters. This position is high impact and high visibility, and an opportunity to use your marketing talents on behalf of the thousands of scientists FASEB represents.
Known as the policy voice for biological and biomedical sciences, the Federation represents 29 scientific societies across a range of disciplines. FASEB sponsors a Science Research Conferences series and publishes The FASEB Journal; marketing these programs is a key responsibility for this position.
Bring your strong marketing skills and collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team on a range of projects. We seek a flexible multi-tasker with a “can do” attitude, along with strong interpersonal and client service skills. Responsibilities include:
Digital marketing: web analytics, email campaigns, retargeting
Marketing analysis and plan development
Client service, both internal and external
Writing for a range of audiences and products/services
Supervise Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communications preferred
Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience; strong preference for association experience
Experience supervising employees
Strong member service and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated writing and editing skills
