The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing seeks a FT Director of Accreditation Services to serve as a member of the leadership team and oversee the accreditation process for baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs nationally.
Major responsibilities include providing superior customer service to constituent programs and volunteer on-site evaluators; providing professional staff support to Board/committee members; overseeing team formation and editing of team reports; representing CCNE at national meetings; delivering professional presentations at conferences, workshops, and webinars; and preparing written communications and reports. Successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the accreditation process is implemented in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; enhancing constituent relations; training and orienting volunteers; and supervising staff. Some travel required.
Master’s degree, strong writing skills, three years supervisory experience, and Microsoft Office proficiency required. Seven years of prior experience in accreditation/credentialing, higher education, professional associations, nursing and/or health-related field required.
