The MLS Director is responsible for managing the operations of the Multiple Listing Service data base, Commercial Service, partnership components and Supra Systems. This position is the Liaison to the MLS Committee and FGCMLS Board of Directors
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Acts as Tier 1 Support for MLS Department answering questions for MLS Tech Support.
Enables third party vendors to procure data using FTP or RETS.
Sets up accounts on the RETS server and the Association membership program.
Maintains the IDX participation list which governs access to the FAR Florida Living Network and free data feed or framing solutions.
Communicates and interacts with FR staff maintaining the data base and correcting any issues in the data.
Integrates member information from Association data set into Multiple Listing Service which offers members the ability and capability to track inventory, sales and historical data.
Oversees Supra operations and ensures policy is followed.
Assists members in using browser based programs by answering questions or brief hands-on training.
Answer questions pertaining to the MLS Rules and Regulations.
Oversees data input and violation reporting and bill for same.
Generates quarterly report for copyright purposes.
Generates reports on condo sales and home sales on a monthly basis for FR /NAR (common data base).
Works with membership on the integrity of the MLS system. Acts as staff liaison for the MLS Committee and SWFL MLS Group.
Advisor for SWFL MLS Group System Administrator.
Works with Tax Aggregator to keep information visible (tax rolls).
Fields questions from membership regarding property related sites and questions.
Sets up third party vendor accounts and helps with data questions and set up.
Works with COO and CFO making sure third party accounts are viable.
Works with the MLS Vendor solving any data issues.
Visits with Brokers to set up a viable IDX solution.
Responsible for updating MLS Geo Area maps through digital system.
Responsible for the assignment of Developments and Subdivisions in the MLS system.
Works closely with the MLS Chair and other members assigned to the SWFL MLS Group
Reports trends to the CEO and Knowledge Services for quick resolution of developing issues.
Performs additional duties as may be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
Provides assistance to other staff projects as needed.
Assists members with their Supra questions/repairs.
Assumes the operation of Supra Systems.
HOURS/DAYS Monday through Friday, occasionally nights weekends depending on functions, amount of work and deadlines. Hours fluctuate based on level of work.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, and talk. The associate frequently is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms stand and walk.
The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
