Information Technology and Web, Project Management/Program Development
This position is for an early career IT Network and Web Administrator who can manage both our website services retainer relationship and our IT network managed services relationship and act as a liaison between staff, IT, and web services to fulfill the organization’s day to day IT and website needs. Duties will include, manage the web-development activities, resolving technical problems and enhancements, resolving issues related to the third-party integration (hosting, servers, etc.) and assisting in the development of website scope of work, estimates, and timetables to complete projects on-time and within budget. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Finance and IT and will work closely with SIR’s Senior Database Administrator as well as the Director of Content Marketing.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Manage IT network administration activities with support from our third party IT services provider (OSIbeyond)
Maintenance of e-mail accounts, active directory accounts, office 365 subscriptions, and other software subscriptions
Write and/or maintain standard operating procedures that outline SIR’s specific use of all major systems
Ensure all Windows patches are up to date and that all hardware and software licenses are audited.
Configure network hardware like servers, routers, and switches
Upgrade and repairing computer networks
Troubleshoot network issues
Deploy and updating software
Manage cloud and physical network storage
Work with the Director of Content Marketing to coordinate activities with our third-party website provider (WSOL) that enhance and evolve SIR’s website
Manage the web-development activities and resolve technical problems and enhancements
Light programming of web services
Resolve issues relate to the third-party integration (hosting, servers, etc)
Assist in the development of website scope of work, estimates, and timetables to complete projects on-time and within budget
Secondary Functions and Responsibilities
Provide support for staff onboarding and offboarding - Set up login, email, AMS login, set up laptop
Provide support in office automation equipment including phones, copier, projector, etc.
Provide training, support, and technical expertise to staff and members
Provide end user support on help desk requests related to key business applications
Administer the SIR security awareness program
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Effective project management and ability to complete projects on time and within budget
Ability to work well with and train staff in a customer service capacity
Certification in MS Office preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
1-3 years in a networking administration/troubleshooting position
1-3 years performing website administration
