AAMI seeks a Program Coordinator, Standards who will support the AAMI standards department in the development of national and international standards.
Provide administrative support for standards related committees and other groups as requested.
Respond to written, email, online (Survey Monkey) and telephone inquiries regarding standards; triage inquiries received to appropriate standards or other AAMI team members when necessary.
Manage department calendar, schedule and handle logistics for department meetings and document, track and follow-up on action items.
Carefully track departmental expenses including meeting expenses and run reports as requested.
Working with IT and other standards team members, coordinate standards-specific content changes and additions to the AAMI website.
Other duties as assigned to include: draft documents, conduct internet research, create meeting minutes and reports, liaison with other departments, assist in the compilation of comments.
Execute accurate and timely updates to information within databases.
Process committee membership applications including distribution or inquiries to appropriate standards staff.
Carefully maintain all documentation and ensure proper record keeping (scanning/filing).
Execute reports to support standards activities as requested.
Work closely with the department staff, the in-house conference manager and others as appropriate in the planning, logistics and execution of standards-related meetings.
Work with SVP and meeting management company on the planning and contract negotiations for the International Standards and Regulations Conference and other standards-related events as requested.
Assist in the preparation and dissemination of meeting materials as requested.
Desired Qualifications and Requirements for the Position Include:
Bachelors degree preferred.
3-5 years of administrative and project management experience required.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading experience in a business environment.
Technologically savvy. Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. iMIS (or similar database), (KAVI or similar) and content management system (CMS) experience a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills required.
Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Exceptional project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities across internal and external stakeholders from start to finish is a must. Must have demonstrated success coordinating projects in a timely manner with accurate attention to detail.
Strong commitment to teamwork and comfortable within a team-based environment.
