Responds to inquiries from members received via phone or email.
Prepares and schedules mailing of the annual dues billings and subsequent reminders.
Processes new and renewal membership payments; prepares payments and forms for data entry; updates database records; proofs data input; acknowledges member payments.
Creates and/or runs database reports and queries.
Creates monthly membership report and other analysis to guide membership retention and outreach planning.
Records payments and deposits in association’s account; provides reconciled and accurate reports to the accounting department.
Maintains a thorough understanding of the association’s benefits and initiatives and communicate them effectively in order to educate prospects and new members about joining and getting involved.
Implements membership recruitment and retention strategies. Creates and deploy membership surveys and evaluations.
Drafts all membership letters for recruitment, marketing, retention, etc.
Processes registrations, maintains registration lists, orders conference supplies, and generates attendee badges and registration packets. This position may also be on-site at conferences and will assist with registration and other on-site logistics.
Processes online store orders with printing vendor and ensure order is shipped.
Assists with webinar content reviews for compliance.
Provides administrative assistance to the executive leadership and team members in support of normal business operations.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Proficiency with an association management system (i4A preferred).
Knowledge of general office methods, procedures, practices and equipment.
Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to respond to members, internal staff and others in a professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly manner.
Good diction, grammar, and vocabulary, in both verbal and written usage with the ability to organize, structure, and communicate information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
Excellent organizational skills with consistent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within deadlines with minimal supervision.
Two (2) years of clerical experience
