Communicates with staff to identify and resolve issues related to the Association’s Database Applications and ensuring all needs are maintained and tracked through MBA’s technical support database.
Maintains and develops reports for end-users using standard Report Writing Tools used by MBA (Aptify, Crystal, Business Objects, SSRS).
Tests and troubleshoots new and existing applications.
Consults with and advises users of the various options and opportunities. Works directly with end-users to resolve conflicts and inappropriate solutions usage.
Develops and manages data extraction efforts to ensure accuracy and deployability.
Plays a key role as an advocate for database integrity by ensuring that systems and procedures are sufficient to support a sound database structure and reliable content.
Regularly provides training to new and existing staff members.
Maintains knowledge of processes and custom database-related applications utilized by Accounting, Membership and Education staff.
Maintains familiarity for standard Report Writing Tools used by MBA (Aptify, Crystal, Business Objects, SSRS)
Provides first line support for the resolution of all issues related to the Association’s business applications.
Assists in the creation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of AMS modules, custom applications, and processes utilized by assigned departments.
Provides pre-conference support and remote conference support related to AMS-driven activities in the areas of membership registration, conference registration, badge printing, and reporting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Two or more years’ experience supporting users and utilizing database applications in multi-user relational database environment. Experience with Customer Support/Service using Aptify or other comparable enterprise level association management system. Two or more years experience with SQL, specifically related to creating and maintaining queries, triggers, and other SQL objects. Knowledge of Crystal Reports, SSRS, SQL, and ODBC databases required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as highly effective interpersonal skills required.
