Who we are looking for:
ASCO has an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated Program Coordinator to join the Finance and Administration Department. The selected candidate will support the operations of the Business Planning and Analysis function through activities that include assisting with managing the program portfolio database, market research for new programs, coordinating meetings and other events, and coordination across ASCO departments.
What you will do:
Conduct market and competitive analyses to support the identification and assessment of new revenue generating concepts and program expansions
Coordinate with Budget team on program reporting for financial and non financial programmatic data
Provide reports and dashboards to support program success metric reporting for internal and Board of Directors program reviews
Assist with presentations on Business Planning and Analysis activities for cross-departmental meetings and ASCO leadership
Collect, organize and update departmental data for the Pricing Inventory and Program Portfolio Database including program metrics
Coordinate Business Planning and Analysis, Strategic Planning and other meetings, maintain meeting calendar, prepare agendas and background materials, and produce and distribute meeting minutes
Contribute ideas, opinions, and information to help refine ideas and program concepts and advance the goals of the function
What you will need in order to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in Marketing or Finance including program coordination
Experience in conducting market research and compiling data and results (PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
Business mind-set with the ability to think creatively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs with advanced Excel experience; and an openness to adapting to new technology
Experience working with online tools and databases, and having experience with a financial system such as Prophix is a plus
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities
