Washington-DC trade association seeks a specialist to be responsible for maintaining computer hardware and software and printers in a Microsoft environment. Duties include providing first level technical support essential for the association’s information systems. Candidate will also assist the Sr. Director-Information Technology in evaluating, testing, maintaining and improving LAN and server systems.
Candidate must possess the following: Bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience or Associate’s degree plus five years of related experience; possession of MTA, MCSA and/or CompTIA A+ certifications (preferred); excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical information to average users; customer service focus with the ability to work well with staff at all levels; well organized and uses initiative to solve problems proactively; demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 10 and Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); working knowledge of PC hardware; experience with NetForum or other association management system a plus; association experience (preferred).
