Who we are looking for:
The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Governance Administrator to provide comprehensive governance and administrative support to the Executive Office, Board of Directors, and Committees, and to serve as the primary Governance liaison
What you will do:
Administer Board and Committee activities including developing communications and meeting timelines, preparing agendas and related materials, coordinating meeting logistics, preparing minutes, and following up on meeting action items for quarterly Board meetings and monthly Committee conference calls
Manage the election process for Directors, Officers, Committee Members and Chairs, and facilitate the orientation of new Directors and Officers
Maintain official Conquer Cancer policies and other official documents and communicate to Board of Directors and staff and ensure the update of annual Conflict of Interest disclosures for Board and Committee members
Manage contacts and maintain up-to-date governance records using CRM, StratusLive, and DirectorPoint, and maintain working and archived governance documents including rosters, calendars, committee descriptions, individual participation records for each board member, and other documents
Provide administrative, workflow, and team coverage support to the Executive Office including scheduling, processing expense reports, new hire onboarding, and other duties as assigned
What you will need in order to be successful:
3-5 years of high-level support experience working in governance or with a board of directors.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PPT
Strong written and verbal communication
Strong meeting planning skills
Excellent calendar management skills
Able to multi-task and recognize priorities
