The American Bus Association (ABA), a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing a thriving segment of the travel industry seeks a Membership Coordinator, who’s primary focus will be on the renewal, engagement, and servicing of existing association members. More broadly, he/she will play an integral role within the Membership Department in assisting with Membership recruitment and strategy, providing exemplary customer service to members, evaluating member services benefits and programs annually for engagement and relevance, and maintaining association database records.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills – 4 years of experience in a customer service or travel related field preferred;proficiency with all Microsoft Office products, strong understanding of database management; be detail oriented; and, excel at problem solving and conflict resolution. Association experience is a plus, but not required.

The American Bus Association, the trade association of the intercity bus industry, represents the motorcoach industry's interests in Washington, D.C. It also facilitates relationships between North American motorcoach and tour companies and all related segments of the travel and supplier industries and promotes travel by motorcoach to consumers.
ABA represents approximately 950 motorcoach and tour companies in the United States and Canada. Its members operate charter, tour, regular route, airport express, special operations and contract services (commuter, school, transit). Another 2,500 member organizations represent the travel and tourism industry and suppliers of bus products and services who work in partnership with the North American motorcoach industry.
