What This Job is About:
This position works within Government & Pharmacy Affairs department at AMCP and leads Regulatory Affairs. Working closely with the Vice President of Government & Pharmacy Affairs this role is responsible for analyzing, advancing, communicating, and advocating AMCP’s regulatory positions within Federal and State government agencies, AMCP members, and other key stakeholders.
This position may also provide guidance to the Manager of Pharmacy Affairs and New Practitioner Programs and reports to the Vice President of Government & Pharmacy Affairs. AMCP is a highly collaborative environment and requires candidates that are able to successfully communicate and work across all levels of the organizations while contributing to our culture of trust and mutual respect.

Have at least 8 years of experience in a Government affairs regulatory environment with health care focus
Your Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s or Doctorate Degree in public health, political science, public administration, law, or pharmacy is preferred
Have experience analyzing regulatory frameworks and recommending solutions
Have a well-developed network of government and state regulatory officials
Have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
