he Northwest Hydroelectric Association (NWHA) is seeking a passionate, collaborative and visionary leader for the position of Executive Director (ED). NWHA was established in 1981 and provides a regional voice for the hydropower industry on behalf of its membership. The ED serves as the chief executive of NWHA and must possess skills to assess current and emerging policy issues and develop communication materials and advocacy on behalf of the industry’s interests. A broad knowledge of the hydropower industry is necessary. NWHA supports several industry events and a major conference annually, activities which require ED leadership, planning and implementation. The anticipated start date for the position is October 2018, but flexibility may be considered. This is a full-time exempt position. The current executive director will retired in March 2019 and training will be provided the new ED, anticipated to come on board October 2018.
