SUPERVISOR: Director, Professional and Workforce Development
NASW is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to develop and execute specific marketing plans for the Professional Development team’s products, programs, and services. This position will be responsible for:
Writing, reviewing and editing informational and promotional content for the department.
Coordinating e-mail marketing and different outreach efforts using content management tools and resources.
Developing and writing supportive collateral materials to promote the department’s products, programs, and services including but not limited to: sales slicks, advertisements, print copy and web postings.
Serving as marketing point person for all Professional Development programs.
Designing key messages for specific targeted audiences and doing outside exhibiting when needed.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Skills: Creativity. Storytelling. Excellent writing. Data analysis. Ability to work productively on cross-functional teams. Requires excellent analytical and organizational skills. Strong project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree required Marketing/Communications or similar discipline, master’s degree preferred. Must have experience with marketing strategies and techniques. Knowledge of basic market research and data management elements required. MUST have prior experience working with Informz email marketing tool.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a professional marketing position. Working experience with associations or other non-profits preferred.
