Position: Senior Coordinator, Information Technology
Reports to: Senior Manager, IT
Type: Full Time
Help configure, maintain, and enhance the databases, websites, and web applications of the Society and STS-managed organizations, including the STS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Document protocols for the appropriate utilization of various IT systems, and conduct associated staff training. Support staff in their day-to-day usage of CRM, other databases, website content management systems, and applications. Consult and collaborate with Society departments and STS-managed organizations on projects with IT implications.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Create and modify CRM queries, workflows, forms, dashboards, and permissions.
Assist in developing and maintaining a variety of other databases.
Help configure and maintain web applications.
Help develop and coordinate best practices for the entry of data into CRM and other databases.
Document procedures for staff utilization of databases, web content management systems, and web applications.
Evaluate requests for the modification of databases, websites, and web applications, and help determine the feasibility of their implementation.
Coordinate the testing, validation, and implementation of enhancements and upgrades to CRM and its associated end-user portal.
Help administer software installations.
Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing IT security measures to safeguard data.
Develop training materials for and conduct staff training with respect to the databases, website content management systems, and web applications.
Handle help desk support tickets related to the use of CRM and other databases, and escalate tickets to senior staff and/or vendors as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems is required.
Minimum of three plus years of experience in an IT support role for a Microsoft-oriented network environment of a middle-sized organization is required. Experience providing high-level support for a CRM or Association Management System is essential. Experience administering a Microsoft Dynamics CRM is preferred. Some background in association or other not-for-profit environment is ideal.
