This person is the first point of contact for the association; Responsible for office mail distribution, office greeter, deliveries, managing office supplies, and overall appearance of the building. Serves as the conference registrar and assist with various events throughout the year. Also assist the Continuing Education Director with data entry and management of CE approvals. Assist and/or manages other projects that may come about throughout the year.
Ability to speak professionally. Ability to take instruction and work independently to complete projects with limited supervision. Must be able to work with others in a team setting. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Commitment to the mission of the Florida Physical Therapy Association. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications must be demonstrated. Familiar with use of website for association membership database and event management. It is essential for this person to be attention to detail focused and ensure the quality and integrity of all communication pieces. Must be able to manage time accordingly in order to get projects done in a timely manner. Serve as conference registrar under director of the COO. Assist Director of Continuing Education with database input and management of CE application and approval process. Other responsibilities include but are no limited to: Coordination of mailings Opening and organization of daily mail, including CE login and email confirmation Meeting registration activities support FPTA District support for meetings, communications, membership updates Work with COO on marketing and placement of vendor advertising, weekly update Member relations – technical support (login, APTA updates, etc.) Responsible for ordering of all office supplies, management of copier/postage machine and other equipment in office. Copying/Filing and other clerical/administrative responsibilities as assigned.
