The Community Investments Associate contributes to accomplishing the Foundation’s mission by assisting the community investments staff with grantmaking and other related work, completing assigned projects, and contributing to efficient and effective Foundation operations.
Provide administrative support for the Director of Community Investments and Community Investments officers.
Manage projects for the director and assigned officers, ensuring that all required activities occur on schedule and that all deliverables are completed with required quality and accuracy.
Participate in departmental and cross departmental teams to identify and resolve problems and coordinate and implement projects, using expert level knowledge of Foundation's mission, vision, and resources to accomplish required results.
Conduct research and interviews for special projects; assist with research, writing and/or editing of reports; develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks; respond to external requests for information and materials.
Compile, analyze, and report on quantitative and qualitative data.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
5+ years of related experience.
Expert level spreadsheet skills, including charting, graphing, and creating narrative explanations of data presented.
Expert level editing, proofreading, and document creation skills, excellent attention to detail.
Expert level knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office and database software, as well as proven ability to build, maintain, and report information from electronic databases.
Professional demeanor and enthusiastic approach to work, comfortable interacting with executives, professionals, members of the public and grantee agency staff and board members.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks for information sharing and mutual support.
